3. charge battry above 70%
4. Follow carefully steps

Here Full Steps To Install Miui 12 

1. Download miui 12.0.1.0
2. Copy Into  Internal storage ( make sure copy proper otherwise error facing )
3. Charge your above 70% ( if not your phone may be go to soft brick )
4. Connect To internet mobile data or wifi
5. Open setting
6. Go to about
7. navigate to updater app
8. Tap miui 11 7 to 10 time for enable aditions settings
9. Click three Doots
10. Select choose Update package
11. find miui 12 update .zip
